Jennifer Raha Newhouse is a poet and educator. Her poems have appeared in many journals, including Triquarterly, SAND, Blue Lyra, and Nimrod. Jennifer writes in the landscape of the ordinary world, one full with kitchens and a commuter's sky. Her poems explore topics of faith, heritage, and the evolving American landscape.
Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Virginia where she studied English and Religious Studies. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and holds a Virginia teaching license. Jennifer is Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Chowan University.
