Jennifer Newhouse is a poet, writing professor, wife, and mother. She teaches at Rappahannock Community College, where she is Associate Professor of English. Her chapbook, Labyrinth, was published in 2019 by Longleaf Press.
Jennifer's poems have appeared in many journals, including Triquarterly, SAND, Blue Lyra, and Nimrod. Jennifer writes in the landscape of the ordinary world, one full with kitchens and a commuter's sky. Her poems explore topics of faith, heritage, and the evolving American landscape. Her first chapbook, Labyrinth (Longleaf Press 2019), stacks these themes into a larger question: What is home? --And can it be kept? |
